On September 11, 2011, the world will come together to honor, remember and dedicate the national 9/11 Memorial. J. Schwartz Construction LLC and other businesses are taking part in this historic opportunity by showing Signs of Support, special commemorative decals displayed in business storefronts.

J. Schwartz LLC is helping to raise money for a very worthwhile cause named Home for Our Troops. We have also volunteered our time to the organization to provide services to help those that can benefit from it. We feel that this is the least that we can do to help those that have so bravely stood in harms way on our behalf.

Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit, non-partisan 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2004. This organization is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries. We assist severely injured servicemen and women as well as their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials, professional labor and coordinating the process of building a new home or adapting an existing home for handicapped accessibility.

All services provided by Homes for Our Troops are at no cost to veterans.

In the spring of 2006, J. Schwartz LLC joined with Habitat for Humanity in one of the organizations biggest events ever; the Builders Blitz. During this single week, hundreds of homes were built by professional builders all across the country and J. Schwartz LLC was responsible for one of these homes in Chester, PA. We worked (and had friendly competitions) with other builders that were working on adjacent homes. At the end of the week, there was a home ready for paint and a new homeowner.
